Mindfulness and grounding
It finally occurred to me that when I travel, I practice mindfulness – focusing exclusively on the things around me in any given moment, sights, smells, sounds, tastes, feelings. I walk the city streets or a path through the woods while absorbing everything I encounter or discover along the way. When I’m mindful of the moment, I can’t think about anything else. It’s wonderful!
